High-Performance IP-Addressable 50-Inch Plasma Monitor For Presentation Applications Launched
Las Vegas - Sampo Professional, a provider of network-enabled flat-panel display solutions for the commercial, education, hospitality and government sectors, announced the availability of the PME-50X10 50" High-Definition Ready Plasma Display, a full-featured, high-performance multimedia display loaded with installer convenience features designed to meet the demanding requirements of a broad range of commercial and institutional applications.
Compatible with Sampo Professionals DisplayNet Administrator software, which enables administrators to control, manage and troubleshoot networks of Sampo Professional flat-panel displays from a single networked computer, the high-definition PME-50X10 is ideal for placement in high-traffic public environments with installer-friendly features that include power on default input, default volume, front panel lock, OSD display on/off, and optional side-mounted speakers. The PME-50X10 can be controlled remotely via an easy-to-use RS232 command structure or through the standard RJ-45 port using a browser-based control interface.
The high-brightness, high-contrast PME-50X10 plasma display supports advanced scaling functions such as picture-in-picture support for displaying multiple video inputs, and video-over-graphics support for combining video and data for videoconferencing, distance learning and other multimedia applications that incorporate static messaging with dynamic content. The versatile PME-50X10 incorporates a host of connectivity options including DVI, RGB, HD component, composite and S-Video inputs. Other advanced unit control features include front panel lockout, discrete input selection and Smart ID.

The high-performance PME-50X10 50-inch WXGA High-Definition Ready Plasma Display features a physical resolution of 1366 x 768 and incorporates a Motion DSC video processor to deliver 3:2 pull-down film mode detection, adaptive motion de-interlacing, edge smoothing, IIS Intelligent Image Scaling engine, and a 3D Y/C digital comb filter.
The PME-50X10 boasts a wide variety of audio/video connectivity options including: DVI, RGB input, RGB loop-out, two sets of composite/S-video inputs, two sets of SD/HD component video inputs, discrete audio inputs for each video input, audio output, subwoofer output, and RJ-45 and RS-232 remote control ports.
