Available now at a MSRP of $2,999, the widescreen HDTV-capable plasma television features detachable side-mounted speakers, dual high-definition video inputs and advanced video processing.
The Maxent 50-inch 16:9 WXGA Plasma Television (MX-50X3) features a native resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and a RGB resolution of up to 1366 x 768. Boasting a high contrast ratio of 3000:1, the MX-50X3 incorporates MotionDSC(r) video processing to support 3:2 and 2:2 pull-down, digital noise reduction, and takes advantage of an IIS(tm) (Intelligent Image Scaling) Engine for outstanding video quality. The robust feature set of the MX-50X3 includes an RS-232 remote control port, advanced audio processing, and a wide assortment of connectivity options including High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) with HDCP support, RGB input and loop-out, composite/S-video inputs, dual high-definition component video inputs, discrete audio inputs, and outputs for an external subwoofer and integrated speakers.

The Maxent 50-Inch 16:9 WXGA Plasma Display (MX-50X3), is a high-performance, feature-rich, high-definition television which is capable of displaying 16.77 million colors and provides multi-scanning PC monitor support up to 1366 x 768. The MX-50X3 features a high brightness output of 900 cd/m2 and supports 480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i SDTV/EDTV/HDTV, and NTSC.
