Mercury Systems, Inc.215 is an 8-channel 16-bit A/D converter VIM-2 module that attaches to Pentek's VIM compatible processor boards. The eight channels are arranged in four pairs of converters each. Each pair of A/Ds can have independent sampling rates up to 234 kHz. Inputs are accepted on multipin front panel connectors with provisions for either single-ended or differential signals. Programmable-gain amplifiers cover a range of 0 to 20 dB. The A/D's utilize sigma delta technology and include anti-alias filters with a cut off frequency that tracks at 46% of the sampling rate.
