NIC's NVS Series multilayer zinc oxide varistors are suitable for suppressing voltage transients due to ESD, inductive discharge and electromagnetic energy. They are available in EIA sizes 0603, 0805, 1206, and 1210 in working voltages from 3.6 to 60 V, clamping voltages from 10 to 120 V, and transient energy ratings of 0.1 to 1.5 J. All feature fast response (<1 ns) to provide transient protection for new, low-voltage semiconductors and to aid in equipment compliance with CES/IEC 801 specifications
