How It Began
ElectronicsWeb, which began life as Computer OEM Online, was launched by VertMarkets, Inc. in 1997 with two lofty goals: First, to become the leading source of product technology, standards, management, and news information in the computer and electronics design industries. Second, to foster an atmosphere in which designers, specifiers and purchasers of products and services in these industries can easily keep abreast of technological developments, as well as identify and communicate with other members of the ElectronicsWeb community who can satisfy their needs.
