DIP Switch Product Line

ITT Industries, Cannon / C&Knew DIP switch product lines have been introduced. The new products are designed to complement or replace existing products, delivering benefits to the user. Additions to the range include half pitch devices, low profile units, side-actuated devices, SIP styles, and 10mm coded rotary switches.

TDA Series devices take up half the PCB space of other older style DIPs, and have a lower profile than other half pitch products. The key feature of these surface mount switches is that they offer improved sealing using removable Kapton tape.

The SDA switches feature a high pressure gas tight contact system which does not require tape sealing, and are available in both through-hole and surface mount packages.

The BPA Series of side actuated DIP switches are available in both through hole and surface mount versions. These switches use the same high pressure contact system as the SDA family, and do not require tape sealing.

Complementing the CD Series of 8mm diameter rotary coded devices, is a 10mm version (CRD) for customers who prefer the larger size with easier to read numbers. Available in through-hole and surface mount models, both the CD and the CRD are suitable for address switching applications in data storage, computer and peripheral and instrumentation equipment.

The SP Series is a line of single-in-line packaged component. They use less than half the PCB space of equivalent DIPs and are available in vertical or right angled, through-hole versions, in 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 positions.
