66 MHz/64-bit PMC bus Analyzer/Exerciser
The device's 64-bit bus exerciser offers full control over bus manipulation to test bus performance and functionality. Users can apply standard PCI protocols using the GUI or develop their own test programs, using C-API, and run them from TA700P memory.
The tool provides many post-processing utilities such as data search, data filtering and file comparison and analytical capabilities, allowing users to test various complex situations and reveal performance bottlenecks.
The boards provide two separate modes of operation. In Easy Mode, pre-defined setups allow users to instantly perform debug and analysis of hardware and software problems, providing immediate access to most card functions without requiring any programming or setup of the analyzer. In Advanced Mode, user-defined setups allow greater control of card functions for debugging highly complex hardware and software problems.
The board is provided with intuitive Graphical User Interface (GUI) software which operates in Windows 95/98, and Windows NT 4.0/2000 operating environments. The board operates in 5.0 and 3.3 Volt systems, and provides all analyzer/exerciser functionality with only one PCI load.
