The completely renovated site reflects Alden's newly renovated branding seen in the company's offline marketing and advertising efforts. It also features navigation that allows its engineering and corporate constituencies to quickly find products – whether by product line, application, or design need – and company information. Most notable is the site's product configurator tool that gives connector specifiers and product designers the ability to "build" a connector online that meets their precise specifications right down to the part number.
Developed by Psynchronous Communications of Woburn, MA, Alden's new online configurator, part of the brand's overall website renovation, allows users to specify and configure their connector using easy and intuitive menus, ultimately allowing the printing of data sheets and requesting part samples and price quotes using the tool's online forms.
