The ADS1252 is a delta-sigma analog-to-digital converter designed for industrial process control applications
Burr-Brown Corporation is a delta-sigma analog-to-digital converter designed for industrial process control applications. It features high resolution (24 bits) and high data rate (40kHz) in a small SO-8 package. An analog-to-digital converter, such as Burr-Brown Corporation, links analog and digital domains by converting a "real world" signal (analog) into digital data for use with microprocessors.

Burr-Brown Corporation consists of a fourth-order delta-sigma modulator, a digital filter, control logic, and a serial interface for easy connection to microcontrollers and digital signal processors. The delta-sigma architecture is used for wide dynamic range and to guarantee 24 bits of no missing code performance. Burr-Brown Corporation operates from a nominal 5V supply and is guaranteed to consume less than 50mW of power. The device's flexible, two-wire synchronous serial interface offers low-cost isolation. Other key specifications include 0.0015% linearity error and 2.8ppm of rms noise(effective resolution of 18 bits up to 40kHz).
