Antec, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of computer products, founded in 1986 and headquartered in Fremont, California. Antec has taken the lead in the computer case, multimedia peripheral, and power supply markets.

For over 14 years Antec, Inc. has maintained an extensive business presence and is acknowledged as a leading brand name in the major distribution channels such as Ingram Micro, Merisel, Tech Data, and in the mass retail market including Best Buy, CompUSA, Micro Center, J&R Computer World, Global Computer Supply and Fry's.

In 1999, Antec has opened a new branch in Europe to better respond to the growing demand for its products overseas.

Antec now has two major product divisions: the Enclosure Technology product division and the Consumer Technology product division. In the first division, Antec continues to provide flexible high quality solutions in the enclosure, external data storage, power supply and system fan markets. The second division is growing rapidly thanks to the filling of market niches with very successful products: PC Card readers/writers to transfer images from digital cameras, portable color scanner for travelers, PC/Mac-to-TV scan converters, for business presentations and computer games.
