Antibacterial Protection for Touchscreens

MicroTouch Systems, Inc. provides antibacterial protection from microorganisms and bacteria for touchscreens. Available on all ClearTek 3000, TouchPen, and ToughTouch touchscreens, it is an effective, durable, and safe protection that allows for increased hygiene and cleanliness in public access devices. It is suited for public installations, such as ATMs, information kiosks, and bartop games, as well as in sanitary-conscience commercial environments, such as medical, food service, and industrial applications. The antibacterial protection is the result of a technology partnership between AEGIS Environments and MicroTouch Systems that bonds AEGIS' antimicrobial agent—Microbe Shield—to the touchscreen coating. Since the antibacterial protection is permanently bonded to the touchscreen's surface, Microbe Shield cannot be rubbed or worn off during use and will provide antibacterial protection for the life of the touchscreen.
