CHOMERICS FACILITY IN HUDSON, NH IS QS-9000 CERTIFIED

Chomerics, Div. of Parker Hannifin(2/22/00)– <%=company%> has achieved QS-9000 certification at its Chomerics, Div. of Parker Hannifinmanufacturing facilities. The Chomerics Hudson facility designs, develops and produces the company's thermal interface materials, EMI shielding laminates, and SOFT-SHIELD 4000 and 5000 lines of EMI shielding gaskets. The thermally conductive interface products are typically used in systems for cooling microprocessors, power supplies and other heat-generating electronics in the Telecommunications and Information Processing industries. The shielding products are used for controlling EMI (electromagnetic interference) in a wide range of electronic devices. The Chomerics Hudson facility comprises three manufacturing buildings with more than 150 full-time employees. Intertek Testing Services, based in Boxborough, Massachusetts administered the QS-9000 certification. Intertek performed an extensive audit of business processes and procedures throughout the Chomerics Hudson facility. QS-9000 is a globally recognized certification provided to manufacturers and other businesses that demonstrate an organization commitment to quality.

The Hudson facility is the first Chomerics site to achieve QS-9000 certification. Chomerics also manufactures products in Woburn, Massachusetts and Marlow, UK. Chomerics is a division of the Seal Group in the Cleveland, Ohio-based Parker Hannifin Corporation.
