Current-Sense Resistor

The SR20 is a 1% tolerance, low-value precision current-sensing resistor equipped with four-terminal Kelvin connections. It is rated at 2 W continuous operation at 70°C ambient temperature with stable load-life performance. Heavy copper terminals help to maintain cool operation at continuous currents up to 15.8 A with surge capability in excess of 600 A for short transient conditions (> 3 kW @ 10µsec). The resistor's 5 nH inductance makes it suitable for applications in motor controllers and switching power supplies. It is available in standard resistance values from 0.008 Ohm +1% to 1.00 Ohm +1%. Custom values and tolerances are also available.
