Digital Upconverter and D/A Module

Mercury Systems, Inc.229 is a digital upconverter that can be used with Pentek's digital receiver and DSP product family. This VIM-2 module contains two identical, independent channels of interpolation and frequency translation suitable for linking a DSP system to a radio transmitter. Mercury Systems, Inc.229 translates digital signals to HF or IF frequencies as high as 80 MHz. The 12-bit D/A accepts upsampled signals as high as 200 MHz, and produces analog outputs from DC to 80 MHz. The board can also be used as a synthesized signal generator or high speed D/A, and can be synchronized across multiple VIM compatible baseboards.
