DNE Technologies, Inc. was founded in 1951 as Stelma, which specialized in the design, development and fabrication of data and voice communications equipment. Located in Stamford, CT, Stelma became the leader in communication technical control systems and introduced its first FDM multiplexer in 1966. In 1969, the company was purchased by Dataproducts Corporation, the largest independent computer printer company in the world. The company relocated to Wallingford, CT in 1977, at which point it became Dataproducts New England, and introduced its first time division multiplexer in 1978.

The company was purchased in 1992 by the Alpine Group (AMEX: AGI), a $1 billion global telecommunications and materials corporation. One year later, Dataproducts New England officially became DNE Technologies, Inc. In 1996, Alpine combined DNE and another subsidiary, Superior Cable, into a separate telecommunications company called Superior Telecommunications (NYSE: SUT).

Today, DNE Technologies, Inc. focuses on the design and development of tactical communication and switched network access products for the US Government and other commercial markets. DNE's 70,000 square-foot facility allows research and development to work closely with design, engineering, production, and field service to manufacture high-quality products which are well-suited to the changing nature of today's communication networks. In 1997, DNE was awarded ISO 9001 certification - a testament to DNE's commitment to product quality and customer service.

DNE Products continue to be employed in critical communication applications worldwide. DNE's dedication to product development and customer service has allowed the company to continually define emerging technologies and provide communications for the new millennium...and beyond.
