ES Components And VPT Components Announce Distribution Agreement And Cooperation

ES Components (Eastern States Components, LLC), a niche distributor and manufacturer of microelectronic components and VPT Components, a MIL-PRF-19500 JANS and MIL-PRF-38535 certified semiconductor manufacturer and assembly/test service provider, today announced distribution agreements and cooperation between the two companies.

Sterling, MA and Billerica, MA (PRWEB) - ES Components (Eastern States Components, LLC), a niche distributor and manufacturer of microelectronic components for Military/Aerospace/High-Reliability markets, and VPT Components, a MIL-PRF-19500 JANS and MIL-PRF-38535 class Q certified semiconductor manufacturer and assembly/test service provider, today announced distribution agreements and cooperation between the two companies.

VPT Components has designated ES Components as an authorized franchised distributor for bare die and wafer products, as well as its packaged products. ES Components has designated VPT Components as a distributor for “ESC Brand” of packaged products including the hermetic MOSFETs, JFETs and Analog Switches that it continues to manufacture with die/wafers acquired from Vishay Siliconix.

Previously ES Components had announced providing MIL-PRF-19500 JAN/TX/TXV JFETs and MOSFETs listed under Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime’s (DLA’s) Qualified Product List (QPL), which are manufactured and branded by VPT Components (“Basic Plant”), using Vishay Siliconix die/wafers that were acquired by ES Components (“Contracted Plant”). Additionally, ES Components had announced full certification to MIL-PRF-38535 Class Q specification and QML-38535 listing with intent to build it’s “ESC brand” of Analog Switches IC’s, using Vishay Siliconix die/wafers on VPT Component’s MIL-PRF-38535 Class Q certified manufacturing line. ES Components and VPT Components also plan to cooperate in providing custom packaging and obsolescence mitigation (DMSMS support) to Military/Aerospace/High-Reliability markets.
