MORRISTOWN, New Jersey, February XX, 2000 — The Electronic Materials business of Honeywell [NYSE: HON] announced today that it has signed an agreement with Lodestone Pacific, Inc. Located in Anaheim, California, Lodestone will distribute Honeywell Electronic Materials' METGLAS electronic component products within the U.S.

The increasing demand for smaller, more-efficient, high-performance magnetic components has spurred the growth of Honeywell's U.S. distribution channels. Lodestone, a manufacturer of toroid mounts, will complement its existing product offerings with the high-performance family of METGLAS amorphous metal cores.

The METGLAS component product lines – POWERLITE c-cores, MICROLITE toroidal cores, MAGNAPERM flat loop cores, and METGLAS square loop cores– are used throughout the power supply, communication, radio frequency and consumer electronics industries.

"Partnering with Lodestone Pacific will help reduce delivery times to end-customers and contribute to the strong growth of Honeywell Amorphous Metals," said Dennis Werth, Electronic Component Segment Leader for Honeywell Amorphous Metals. "This agreement allows Honeywell to access broader markets through the extensive nationwide customer-base that Lodestone Pacific has built during their 10-years of industry experience."

"Our agreement with Honeywell for its METGLAS alloy components will help us tailor our service to satisfy the needs of today's demanding high-efficiency switch mode power supplies and uninterrupted power supplies," said Rich Barden, President, Lodestone Pacific.

Lodestone Pacific markets through 20 regional sales representatives that are supplied by a central distribution center located in Anaheim, California. Contact Lodestone Pacific at 800-694-8089 for the office nearest you.
