In-Flight Workstation

Miltope's In-Flight Workstation - a rugged, Intel-based computer - can be used to automate numerous flight attendant processes allowing airline cabin crews to higher level of efficiency. The integrated electronics can easily control In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) devices (including audio and video), and the built-in CD-ROM can be used to host maintenance manuals for rapid problem resolution. The versatile, open system architecture makes it an ideal tool for IFE control, on-board and ground maintenance functions, cabin management, and passenger service control. The standard CD-ROM can optionally be replaced with a DVD to provide safety messages, short content or can be used as a high capacity removable storage device. The In-Flight Workstation runs today's popular operating systems, including Windows 3.1/3.11, Windows 95/98, and Windows NT 4.0.
