Inco Type 210 Extra Fine Nickel Powder
Inco's filamentary powders are a unique highly pure form of nickel, developed through and produced by Inco's own technology. They have a characteristic three-dimensional chain-like network of extra fine particles.
Type 210 – The Conductive Additive
Inco Type 210 is used as a conductive additive in the active mass of rechargeable batteries. Its unique highly filamentary structure allows for a well-developed conductive network. Inco Type 210 is cost effective compared to other more expensive additives.
Type 210 – For Sintered Electrodes
With its finer structure, Inco Type 210 powder can be sintered at low temperatures and it can be mixed with the standard Inco Type 255 and Type 287 powders
Type 210 – Other Uses.
The fine particle size and high surface area of this powder allows for lower temperature sintering, Also makes it an effective binder for hard metals and diamond.
