N/ANW 2053B is a plug-in module which slots into the System 2050 mainframe unit and can be used to generate all five pulses required by the standard. The module is pre-programmed with the corresponding parameter setting for the FCC part 68 tests. Control is via the front panel key pad and display, or remotely from a PC using WIN 2050 software.
The CDN 141 coupler provides coupling of the signals to the power and telecom lines. Power sockets are provided on the front panel, for connections used by some tester and ensure a high-integrity coupling of the surge pulse to the power line.
