Video Line Drivers Family
Signal Processing Technologies introduces six video line drivers, the SPT940x family, that includes single, and triple channels with internal clamp, bias, and feedback versions and standard video amplifier versions. Applications include video editing equipment, video capture/playback cards, multimedia PCs, RGB encoding, and consumer video.
With triple channel capability, the SPT9400 video line driver chip analyzes standard Y/C analog inputs and provides simultaneous Y/C and composite video analog outputs. The product internally sums the Y and C inputs to produce composite video output, and achieves composite output on both the Y and CVBS outputs by inputting a composite signal on the Y input.
The SPT9401 is suitable for driving RGB video signals. The SPT9402 triple line driver is without internal clamp, bias and feedback circuitry that allows the user to select the appropriate application-specific external circuitry.
The SPT9404 allows for external, application-specific clamp, bias and feedback circuitry with power-down standby mode. The SPT9405 has an internal clamp and feedback resistors for Y input signals, and the SPT9406 has internal biasing and feedback resistors for C input signals.
