Lithium Coin Cells Are Ultra-Thin

Here are some ultra-thin lithium coin cells that can reduce the profile of a battery to 0.5 mm. The cells are available in 1.2- and 0.5-mm thicknesses. Maintaining stable performance at relatively high temperatures, these cells can be used in the design of memory cards, non-contact smartcards, and other ID tags of less than 1 mm in thickness, as well as for main power and back-up applications in non-card systems. The 1.2-mm-thick CR Series manganese-dioxide types are available in four diameters and capacities ranging from 18 mAhrs. to 100 mAhrs. The 0.5-mm BR Series poly-carbon-monofluoride types are available in capacities of 20 mAhrs. to 30 mAhrs. and can withstand temperatures up to 85°C.
