Lockheed Martin Selects Force Computers As Preferred Supplier

Force Computers, a Solectron Companyompany%> announced an agreement with Lockheed Martin Corporation to be a supplier of CompactPCI and VME product families as part of Lockheed Martin's Value Creation Process.

As a result of this agreement, Lockheed Martin's engineering and procurement personnel will have direct access to Force Computers' product information via a Force Computers/ LMC specific web site. Force Computers will have the ability to provide up-to-date information targeting the LMC personnel making technical and procurement decisions at the company's numerous business locations throughout the world.

"Force was selected to be a Lockheed Martin preferred supplier of both CompactPCI and VME products because of our ability to meet customer demands for multiple solutions and our technology leadership," said Chris Williams, vice president of marketing for Force Computers.

In addition, the agreement permits efficient ordering by LMC as the administrative elements of contracts between the companies have been pre-negotiated.
