Endicott Research Group has introduced the Smart Force mini-EL DC-AC inverter for powering displays that are backlit by electroluminescent (EL) lamps.
A vacuum-encapsulated unit measuring 1 in. (25 mm) W x 0.69 in. (17 mm) L x.64 in. (16 mm ) H, the mini-EL automatically adjusts operating voltage and frequency as the lamp ages and changes.
The mini-EL is ideal for a variety of instrumentation displays, including those on various portable or hand-held, battery-operated devices.
