Under the terms of the contract, Wavecom is to supply its latest quadband WISMO modules for Telson's new series of TDG7050 mobile phones that are targeted to be launched in the Chinese and US markets. Wavecom's quadband products are the only integrated wireless modules currently available to cover all four GSM/GPRS frequencies (850/900/1800/1900 MHz), enabling manufacturers to make ‘anywhere, everywhere' global GSM/GPRS roaming a reality. The technology also leads the way in catering for the 850 MHz GSM/GPRS market. We also appreciate that the WISMO solution supports all the latest features that consumers are demanding, allowing us to deploy all our own creativity and expertise to develop cutting-edge mobile phones like the TDG7050. That, in turn, takes us one step closer to our achieving our ambition of being a global provider of world-class mobile phones," Mr. Cho said.

Ms Song Mee Hee, Managing Director of Wavecom Korea Co. Ltd, said, "We are delighted to initiate our partnership with Telson who, being our first Korean customer to use our quadband WISMO modules, further strengthens the reputation of our WISMO solutions in Korea, home to many of the world's most dynamic mobile phone manufacturers."
