Oasis Computer Products Opens New Manufacturing Facility

OCP announced that it has opened a new 20,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility located in Tijuana, BC, Mexico. The new facility will manufacture cables, wire harnesses, adapters and hand-held electronics to service OEMs in both the North American and European markets.

Formed to meet increased customer demand, the new plant will be equipped with state of the art wire and cable processing equipment including vertical thermoplastic injection, automated wire cutting and stripping, continuity and hi-pot testing equipment. Other technologies will include ultra-sonic welding of hard plastics over PCBs.

The new facility is an U.L.-approved wire harness facility and operates under an ISO 9002 quality system.
