OEM designers engaged in control cabinet development, machine building and process automation can now facilitate the connection of data loggers, printers, monitors, Ethernet devices and other diagnostic, programming and test equipment.

Both metal and plastic MSDD front panel interface models are available. They are ideal for use in environments where opening the control cabinet could be dangerous due to dust, sprays, and other hazards.

The MSDD interface with a metal housing is IP65-rated and features I/O jacks and electrical receptacles housed in snap-in/snap-out modules. The main metal housing – with single or double spring-loaded access doors – is easily installed without having to open the cabinet or drill and tap screw holes. Once the housing is situated, the desired I/O jacks and electrical receptacle modules may be popped in and out to meet user needs. All wiring is pass-through and connections can be completed from outside the cabinet. The MSDD's gender-changer I/O fixtures save additional time because all male/female connections are pre-matched and pre-soldered.
