Rodel, Inc.

Rodel was founded in a garage in Wilmington, Delaware in 1969. While the company has evolved into a global leader in precision surface technologies that employs almost one thousand people worldwide, we have retained the same spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation upon which the company was founded.

At Rodel, we combine small company agility with large company strength. Our strategic alliances with companies such as Rohm and Haas, Shipley, 3M, Clariant, Nalco and Kinik provide us with the resources of large corporations and the innovations of small inventors to guarantee the best solution for our customers.

Rodel's global business headquarters is in Phoenix, Arizona and our manufacturing headquarters is in Newark, Delaware. In addition to Newark, the company operates manufacturing facilities in the Mie and Nara prefectures in Japan. Research and materials development are centered at the Newark location while the applications, testing and integration studies are based in Phoenix. Further, Rodel has sales and technical service centers in North America, Japan, Europe, Malaysia, Korea and Taiwan.

Rodel has a solid commitment to increasing our investment in technology, expanding R&D capabilities and our world-class engineering force. Rodel's sophisticated technical applications labs house state-of-the-art processing and metrology equipment, which are instrumental in accelerating the development of advanced planarization polishing systems. Our teams of research scientists and applications engineers work with the latest technologies to simulate customers' current and future processes. This capability is critical to developing new products for all equipment platforms and to find cost-effective solutions that can be readily implemented into a manufacturing operation.
