Sensitron Semiconductor is a privately held company and has been located in Deer Park, Long Island, New York since its establishment in 1969. Sensitron was founded with the charter of manufacturing high reliability Power Semiconductor Components and Glass Axial Diodes. Sensitron introduced its first Power Module to market in 1989 and continued to expand its core business, with the design and manufacture of a wide variety of chip or component assemblies incorporating package styles which include, ceramic leadless chip carriers as well as the industry standard TO- packages. Sensitron is continuing its growth, through the expansion of its Microelectronics Business Unit which is responsible for the Power Hybrid and Module Products.
