Vero Electronics has introduced a subrack designed to provide EMC shielding for electronics that operate in the high end of the frequency spectrum. The KM6-RF incorporates several features of Vero's existing KM6-II subrack system while providing several additional configuration possibilities. Extruded EMC front panel and contact fingers on the KM6-RF minimize intrusion into the PCB area in accordance with IEEE 1101.10 standards. A finger strip that fits to the front extrusion and further enhances the screening level of the panels is available to interface with the panels. The KM6-RF is compatible with IEC 297-3 and DIN 41494.

Two backplane extrusions are offered for the new subrack as well as two types of ventilated covers. A heavy-duty support extrusion is available for applications where the subrack is required to meet stringent shock and vibration conditions. The KM6-RF is available in 240, 300 and 360mm depths.
