TELEform and Zetafax Cut Data Input Costs by 70 percent

Prisma SolutionsG, South Africa - Cardiff Software, leaders in the data and document capture solution, TELEform, and Equisys, are offering an easy, cost effective, fax-based data collection solution which will help companies cut their data input costs by 70 percent or more.

According to Hugo Leuner, managing director of <%=company%>, this is due to the major integration between Equisys' Zetafax and Cardiff's TELEform 6.1 software. "It is now possible to receive business forms via a Zetafax server and forward it to TELEform, which quickly and accurately interprets the individual characters and automatically inputs the data into databases, spreadsheets or ASCII files. This eliminates manual data entry and reduces processing time from hours to seconds," says Leuner.

The integration also enables TELEform users to access information from centralised databases and fax directly from a desktop computer using the Zetafax server as the faxing engine. Both products are true client-server systems, therefore the integration is seamless, allowing users to receive and send faxes from either TELEform or Zetafax interfaces.

"Most companies are still predominantly paper-based and that is why faxing is a core component of a company's information process. The ability to send and receive faxes from networked personal computers improves the functionality of TELEform and adds to the organisation's investment in office automation," concludes Leuner.
