N/Ane of pluggable terminal blocks is designed to maximize production efficiency. By using high-temperature plastics, the header family can withstand IR, vapor phase, or convection reflow processing. The headers are a member of the ELF and Flexiplug product line of 0.200 in. and 5 mm spaced pluggable terminal blocks. They provide an industry-standard connector interface and mate to firm's ELF-style terminal block plugs, including Flexiplug types, the US-style barrier block plug that provides for standard screwdriver wire termination. Other plug types include right angle, 45° angle, straight top and bottom entry, and top and bottom front access orientations. The headers are available in open- or closed-end versions to permit end-to-end stackability, or to prevent cocking during plug attachment or removal. Pricing is about 49-cents each in production quantities (at time of publication).
