World Test Systems

"WORLD" TEST SYSTEMS, INC. was founded in January of 1976 in Waynesboro, Virginia to manufacture vacuum and mechanical test fixtures for the ATE industry. During the following years, we grew along with the ATE industry and installed production control systems, QC procedures and manuals to ensure that customer requirements and quality was number one. We continued to automate our process by installing a complete computerized fixturing system which included modem hook-ups and E-mail for receiving customer information. We also have special drills for accuracy, semi-automatic wire wrapping, and semi-automatic QC checkout.

"WORLD" TEST SYSTEMS, INC. operates out of a modern 25,000 sq. ft. facility located in Waynesboro, Virginia. WTS employs approximately 46 people at this time and operates two shifts in the drill and wiring areas to support quick turns and on-time delivery. WTS offers a complete line of fixture kits to interface into GenRad, Hewlett-Packard, Teradyne, VXI Fixturing, Pneumatic Fixtures, Teradyne Board Handlers, Philips Board Handlers, and custom mechanical and vacuum fixtures. We are a Value-Added Fixture Supplier with Hewlett-Packard, Teradyne, and GenRad and are listed in their literature and manuals as an approved and qualified fixture source.

"WORLD" TEST SYSTEMS, INC. has 23 years of experience in the test fixture industry. During our 23 year span, we have manufactured, drilled, wired, and performed QC procedures on more than 22,500 test fixtures for the ATE industry. We have developed years of experience and are familiar with all phases of the test fixture industry. We have a complete computerized fixturing process for CNC drilling, fixture labeling, and semi-automatic wire wrapping. We also have a computer controlled tracking and production system to ensure on time delivery. Most of our key personnel have been with the company for a number of years -- with a total of 115 years experience with just our six top managers. At the present time, "WORLD" TEST SYSTEMS, INC. has a customer base in excess of 125 companies.
